Carleton offers generous funding packages to its graduate students. When you submit your application for admission to Carleton, you are automatically considered for funding and if you are eligible, you will be notified in your Offer of Admission and Funding. Admission funding may take the form of one or more of the following: Teaching Assistantships (TA) TAs assist faculty members with various duties which might include conducting labs or study groups, assisting with lecture preparation, marking assignments and tests, etc. A TA work assignment may take place outside the academic unit to which you are applying if your academic record shows strengths in other areas. Carleton offers TAs a wide range of training opportunities through a variety of offices and for which you will get paid.
